Mbarara City fc coach Paul Nkata, together with his technical bench, have been forced to lay their tools down after forty nine days of failure at the club.
The development was confirmed on the club’s official Twitter page. “Head coach Nkata Paul, assistant coach Kasule Baker and goal keeping coach Hamza have been sacked. More details to follow as the team will announce the caretaker for the remaining games in the first round.”
The change comes after the former URA and SC Villa tactician fails to lead the Ankole Lions to the promised land as expected after the club decided to part ways with the young tactician Brian Senyondo.
Nkata has been in charge of the club for only seven matches. The club is left in the relegation zone with only ten points.
