All over the world, artists are streaming online shows from their homes amid the corona virus outbreak.
In Uganda, artists including Jose Chameleone, John Blaq, Irene Ntale, Winnie Nwagi, Allan Toniks have also had acoustic and intimate online performances.
Last weekend (on Mother’s day), and after a while, singer and Kyadondo legislator Bobi Wine, set the pace.
With about 28,000 Facebook users and 3,000 viewers on his YouTube live stream, his show is so far the most viewed and most talked about.
This had his musician friends applauding him for the job well done and others anticipating for the the same show down.
Among these was singer Big Eye who posted asking his fans minutes after Bobi Wines show down when to host his online concert.
The comments on the post were hilarious and heart breaking to a Big Eye fan since many asked him not to waste his data bundles especially in this quarantine.
Some went an extra mile to comment that not even the lockdown will prevent them from pelting him with bottles like it has been the case.
