Comedian Patrick Salvado has invested a lot of energy on promoting his radio show on Sanyu FM on social media than actually investing on the microphone.
The man from Ombokolo has taken to trying so many things like getting celebrity interviews from some of Kampala’s most trending public figures to handling some controversial topics like feminism, tongue-in-cheek.
However, his style of operation has started irritating some of the show’s most ardent listeners who claim he is failing to fit in the shoes of the former host, James Onen, aka Fatboy.
One listener particularly took his frustration out on social media telling Salvado he is trying too hard to impress and it is beginning to show.
Brahan Junior tweeted: “Eheee I can see @882SanyuFM and @idringp are struggling on Twitter and in the morning breakfast show gone are the days when our car radios were locked in to Sanyu fm. brother the show is not for inviting in local celebrities its open and content show of versatility @jamesonen.”
The tweet angered the comedian who clapped back, mocking the listener.
“Lol with 83 followers I believe you know what “a struggle” is … a journey of 1000 miles starts with one step..”
