According to UK based Ugandan media personality Alan Kasujja, budding vocalist Ezekiel Mutesasira is the best male vocalist in the country. The young Ezekiel became a regional sensation after winning the East Africa’s Got Talent singing competition in Nairobi, Kenya as a duo with his sister Esther. Alan tweeted: Best male vocalist in #Uganda is Ezekiel Mutesasira. Is he even 10?
At the time they were crowned winners in October last year, Esther was 14 while Ezekiel was 11.
The title Alan has now awarded Ezekiel what was at one point according to local music critics Mowzey Radio’s and some handed it over to King Saha after Radio’s death.
However, some people think Alan is too early with his judgement reasoning that Ezekiel is still a young man yet to hit puberty. Gareth Onyango said “The man hasn’t reached puberty what if the voice changes.”
Alan said he is keen to speak to them and their parents. Esther and Ezekiel are singer Julie Mutesasira and pastor Mutesasira’s children.
