Powerlifter Roy Mubiru vows to win Gold for Gitawo

Powerlifter Roy Mubiru has vowed to win in tonights power liftting title for his main sponsor Cameroon Gitawo.
Mubiru is slated to join the power lifting fray later tonight in the WPA world powerlifting championships in Connecticut, America.
” I am physically and mentally prepared. I will win it for Cameroon Gitawo,” he vowed. As of on cue, South African based Gitawo staked a brand new car for Mubiru if he bags gold.
Roy Mubiru who is a champion (Powerlifting and Cross fit) says he is more than determined to repeat a feat that saw him win in the same competition last year in Lutsk, Ukraine.
Although Mubiru confesses he hasnt got adequate training like in the previous year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he says he will bank on past experience to bag gold.
His sponsor Gitawo said Mubiru deserves the Porsche GTS if he wins. ” He is a worthy ambassador who deserves all the good the good things coming his way,” Gitawo said.
According to Gitawo, government should be at the forefront in awarding such sportsmen. When Mubiru won in Ukraine, he met President Museveni. Some of the promises made then have not been fulfilled. Before winning gold in Ukraine, Roy Mubiru lifted 555 kilos and defeated 24 competitors.
