She is a friend to FUFA boss Moses Magogo. In fact, they are very close friends and that partly explains why she did spread out her wings to sports and football to be specific.

Celebrated Ugandan female artist Sheebah Karungi had Magogo’s name on the list of the key guests at her housewarming and the FUFA president had to fly from Egypt, abandoning Uganda Cranes midway a strike to come and honour the special invite.

It is this bond that saw Sheebah contribute 1500 packs of Holic sanitary pads to the Uganda U-17 National women football team yesterday during her visit to Lugogo, the venue hosting training sessions.

Her presence at the stadium brought huge smiles on the players, but wild ones to male FUFA officials and male journalists who covered the event.

Sheebah noted, “We have come to give you Holic Pads and also offer you something beautiful which will make you comfortable when playing on the pitch and beating Cameroon.”

“I do not want you to wake up in the morning with a lot of discomfort because of the menstrual times. We want you to feel comfortable and do what you do best so regardless whether you are in your red zone or not. We want you to win because you are destined for greatness.”

The players later had a moment to dance with Sheebah on her famous collabo with Crysto Panda Kyoyina omanya.
