Singer Sheebah Karungi’s new song, “Love Ya Kitundu” isn’t getting a smooth sailing on YouTube.
The video that was uploaded on the site on December 1 st is struggling to garner views and harsh opinions have been formed against it already.
While a section of fans thinks the song is far from a disappointment, others feel it is a concept that has been over milked by video directors and perhaps, it’s the reason it the reception isn’t warm.

Pchab1996: “Song is nice, but the video concept has been overused already! Davido, Burnaboy, Sho Madjozi, etc. Sheebah, your always the Queen!” Some of Sheebah’s fans didn’t take the criticism lightly and so clapped back, turning it into a ping-pong of sorts.
Sam Wyn replied: “Show me your music videos and I visit your u tube channel.” Pchab1996 hit back: “So u actually do this for business and u were THAT aweful? You are lowering Sheebah’s brand. That woman puts out serious energy on her work, she shouldnt put up wi th half baked concepts
She should keep using Sasha Vybz or others to maintain and elevate her brand! I hv family in the biz and they do films and documentaries.” Other critics called Sheebah out for the use of auto tune saying it spoilt the song.
Maya JKN: “Too much auto tune but good song. Auto tune eyonona.” Sam Wyn came back: “This isnt autotune..go see spice’s kwata wano..it’s just ugandans are possessed with the word autotune.” Last week we reported here how singer Winnie Nwagi’s lastest offering “Everything” was bashed for having a monotonous look
