Lt. Gen Muhoozi offsets half of DJ Bushbaby’s surgery bill

The commander of special forces and first son, Lt. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has offset more than half of veteran DJ and media personality DJ Bushbaby’s medical bill. Real name, Benjamin Owor is set for a surgery scheduled for July/August. Muhoozi’s contribution comes days after Bushbaby made a call seeking the public to lend a hand in raising sh15m needed for his surgery.
He survived an accident in early April that left him on crutches with a broken hipbone and internal injuries. Members of the public, businesses and corporate companies both local and regional have since taken on the drive to offset the bill.
DJ Bushbaby and social media users have expressed gratitude upon learning of the learning General’s contribution with the former creating a poster to extend his appreciation. He goes a long way with the General. It is believed, they first met in Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania in the early 2000s when he was a presenter with East Africa Radio and TV.
Until early this year, he was Vision Group’s head of lifestyle and entertainment hub.
