Miss Elite Africa Judith Heard trashes UTB, Kiwanda

By Ahmad Muto
Just a week after getting crowned the Miss Elite Africa 2021-22 in Cairo, Egypt, Judith Heard has slammed the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) and former tourism minister Geofrey Kiwanda just moments after touching down at Entebbe Airport.
According to her, they ignored her call for help despite making the effort to get them in the loop to be a part of her journey. She said she met Kiwanda twice but upto the time of catching her light to the North African country, she had not received feedback but they are now showering her with congratulatory messages.
“The tourism board did nothing for the entertainment industry. They didn’t give me even $100 dollars to atleast enable me buy drinking water on arrival at the airport. I met minister Kiwanda twice. When time to catch my flight to Egypt came, they had not done a thing for me,” she raged.
The mother of three said Miss Elite Africa is not just about beauty but about women that have impacted their societies like she has championed the fight against gender based violence. She also noted that at 35 years, she isn’t bad in the looks department arguing that she looks better than some 15 and 18 year olds.
The contest had representatives from Kenya, Belgium, Morocco, Cyprus, Canada, India, Greece, Colombia among others.
