Faded singer Jamal Wasswa is hunting for a city slay king who is reported to be impersonating him.
During an interview, the Abakyala Balabye hitmaker revealed that he had got the news that someone who resembles him was busy minting money from his songs, calling himself Jamal yet he is not.
“There is a con-man that is impersonating me and performing my songs in many places. He made himself brown like me, but he doesn’t know how to sing. I am searching for him and I am going to take him to Police,” Jamal warned.
He asked promoters and his fans to help in capturing the imposter.
“I have been told that he charges huge amounts of money on shows. That is not me. If anyone sees him, let him be captured and taken to Police,” Jamal cried out.
The singer is struggling for a comeback following a long musical break.
He became popular when he released hits such as Abakyala Balabye, Hero, Anavaawa, Omusomesa, Love Teri Fair, and Oba Wuwo.
