Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi left his fans divided over the weekend after he announced the winner of his reality show, Wife Material, Season three.

Via Instagram, he shared a photo of the winner, Monica Ayen and said it marks the end of the Wife Material show since he has found the wife material he has been looking for.

Fans of his reality show did not cheer him on, expressing their displeasure with the results while some argued that it was a perfect ending.

In his long Instagram post, he said Ayen won his heart, promised to protect her. He said he cannot wait to start a family with the South Sudanese national.

He wrote: “Monica Ayen -Omondi. Congratulations on winning my heart, Congratulations on winning the Final Season of #WifeMaterial I promise to love you with all that I have. In March this year, the season two contestants from the East African countries were forced to leave Kenya after moral crusaders called for a ban of the show invoking violation of Kenya’s Films and Stage Plays Act. One of the four Ugandan contestants, Nadia, refused to leave Nairobi, going out on a drinking spree.
