A few weeks ago, singer and presidential adviser Catherine Kusasira told a vlogger that she had enrolled at Islamic University In Uganda, Kampala campus and was pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public administration.

The Kampala Sun followed up her claims, only to find out that the Taxi singer has not turned up for any lecture since the semester started over a month ago.

If she was really my student, she would know that I already gave out two course works and one presentation. Maybe she is pursuing another course

A lecturer at the public administration department revealed that she had not caught a glimpse of her.

“What I know is that she sat mature age entry exams, but I did not follow up on whether she was admitted to the university or not. I don’t think she is with us because I teach all the groups, and I have not yet seen her. If she was really my student, she would know that I already gave out two course works and one presentation. Maybe she is pursuing another course,” the lecturer said.

The lecturer warned that if the singer does not do the course works, she may get retakes in about five course units.

It is not clear whether the singer enrolled at the university or she failed the mature age entry exams and did not get admission.
